Study for the intermediate YKI test with me!
My next intermediate YKI courses:
Update 3 June 2024:
I'm currently only teaching self-study based YKI courses, but I'm also hoping to resume small group courses at some point.
I'm leaving my old course page up in case you're interested and would like to see what might be oming up in the future. In the meantime, I recommend my self-study courses (linked above), which also come with a lot of teacher and peer support.
Steps towards YKI is a series of courses for students who are at the later stages of CEFR level A2 (A2.2 in the Finnish system). The courses are also useful and suitable for students who have already reached B1 (YKI 3, intermediate level) and would like to revise and deepen what they alrea'm dy know. In addition to helping you get ready for the YKI test, Steps towards YKI will help you develop your language skills in real life, not just for doing well in the test.
We will be meeting live on Zoom on four Wednesdays at 19.00-20.30 (Finnish time). In addition to our live lessons, we will be doing homework assignments and communicating via the group's very own Whatsapp group. You will also get personal feedback on your speaking and writing assignments. The course will be taught in Finnish and English.
Each individual course comes with a new theme and new exercises. The series is composed of 9 courses of one month each, eventually covering all of the nine YKI test themes. You can study for one month only, participate in the entire series or just choose the courses that best suit your needs.
