Study for the intermediate YKI test with me!
Steps towards YKI is a series of courses for students who are at the later stages of CEFR level A2 (A2.2 in the Finnish system). The courses are also useful and suitable for students who have already reached B1 (YKI 3, intermediate level) and would like to revise and deepen what they already know. In addition to helping you get ready for the YKI test, Steps towards YKI will help you develop your language skills in real life, not just for doing well in the test.
We will be meeting live on Zoom on four Wednesdays at 18.30-19.30 (Finnish time). In addition to our live lessons, we will be doing homework assignments and communicating via the group's very own Whatsapp group. You will get also personal feedback on your speaking and writing assignments. The course will be taught in Finnish and English.
Each month, there will be a new theme and new exercises. The series is composed of 9 courses of one month each, eventually covering all of the nine YKI test themes. Each month, we will be covering a brand new theme and new grammar. You can jump in at the beginning of each month, study for one month only, participate in the entire series or just choose the courses that best suit your needs.
